From mid-2024 to early 2026 I worked as a freelance Java tech lead at ABN AMRO (Amsterdam area), working across different teams to help make their software and infrastructure more production-worthy — something I call “productionizing”.
What I worked on
- Picked up the stories needed to productionize each team’s environment
- Planned the work and tracked progress together with the team
- Java backend development and technical leadership
- Spring Boot on Azure cloud infrastructure
- Made sure the environment was fully under control by the time we were done
